August 4, 2007 Subject: Robert en route back to Sudan Hi all, Robert left last evening and unfortunately due to some flight delays in Montreal he missed his original flight from Frankfurt to Sudan and is having to travel to Amin, Jordan and then to Sudan. This means his travel time is 11 hours more than scheduled. He is very tired and while he was disappointed to go back he simply is not tired of flying now and wants to get there and get it done. I have attached some pictures of the helicopter crash I mentioned in and earlier email and also I have included some pictures of the Yei food market where Robert and Mark purchase vegetables and peanuts. Robert left me some more pictures that I will share over the coming weeks. We had spent some great time together and with our new baby AERO and while he saw some of you, he knew it would be impossible to see all. We spent 5 great days in Iceland (which was awesome-we would highly recommend anyone visit this country) and he is simply looking forward to getting the mission done to return in February 2008. His next leave we are planning for October and I will be flying to Africa to join him in traveling to a number of countries including Egypt and Uganda. Talk soon..almost three months down...only six to go. Let's hope they go quick. It was so nice to have him home. Paula
